Liz Margin, Makup Artist

New York born Liz Margin fell in love with creating beautiful makeup while working side by side with some of the most influential makeup artists in the world - the late Kevyn Aucoin, Sonia Kashuk, and Francois Nars. Incorporating perfect techniques from these masters, she developed her own pretty and sexy makeup design style. She then collaborated on runway shows for some of the world’s greatest American designers like Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan. World class clients like Guess Jeans, Gucci, and Tissot have trusted her fresh approach to beauty. The most sought after photographers in the world have shared the set with Liz including Annie Liebovitz, Irving Penn, Dahlen, Max Vadukel, Alexi Hay, and Dewey Nicks. Her roster of celebrities is varied including sports figures like Tom Brady and race car driver Danica Patrick. Some of the musicians and actors she’s worked with include Sandra Bernhard, Michael Stipe, Chloe Sevigny, Frances McDormand, Joanne Woodward, Molly Sims and Heidi Klum. Her work has appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, and Self Magazines.

Now, she considers herself to be blessed to be sharing her makeup talents with brides from all over the country. “Helping a bride complete her wedding day beauty vision is the best feeling in the world. Nothing is more satisfying than hearing a brides family and friends say, “Wait until he sees you, he’ll faint, you look so gorgeous!” Being a part of that special and intimate day is one of the most fulfilling parts of what’s been an exciting and satisfying career!”

In addition to her makeup styling, Liz collaborated with other freelance artists to form Team Artist Representative in Boston. The 20 year old agency is now the most successful of its kind in the region representing hair, makeup, stylists and producers for advertising, fashion, and commercial shoots.

Thornager's on Kiltie Lane

For nearly 20 years, Thornager's and Karen Sorensen have been synonymous with great food and entertaining in Flagstaff. The company began as a deli in 1988, and Karen steadily grew the business into a full-service restaurant and catering operation, all the while, dreaming of a special events venue altogether different than the hotels in town could offer.

In 2002, she fulfilled that dream with the purchase of a banquet and clubhouse in scenic, wooded Equestrian Estates. Thornager's on Kiltie Lane is a secluded, yet readily accessible charming setting for weddings, banquets, and special events of all kinds.

Today, Thornager's Catering continues to provide outstanding service for all types of events all over Northern Arizona and at our own facility, Thornager's on Kiltie Lane.

Bridal Happy Hour is coming to Flagstaff in June

Northern Arizona Wedding Specialists is very excited to announce plans for Flagstaff's very first Bridal Happy Hour. This FREE event will provide a fun environment for area Bride's to mix and mingle with some of Northern Arizona's best wedding professionals. All participating vendors will be offering special booking incentives only available through the BHH event. Purchase raffle tickets at the door for a chance to win one of our fabulous prizes (ie. spa services, gift certificates, engagement photo session and much more).
